Starstruck!
I'm a bit starstruck today. I've met Schmeichel. No, not the footballer. The dog. On Coronation Street.
I visited the kennels where he lives with Ozzy (Liam Connor's dog) in a show kennel with about a dozen other dogs.
The reason I went was to do a story about the theft of a five-month-old bulldog puppy, Betty-boob.
Her owner, Anne Lunt, breeds dogs but they're not a business to her - unlike a lot of breeders. These are clearly pets and she loves them all.
She thinks someone crept in to steal Betty-boob to either breed from her or to sell her on.
We barely heard a bark when we went to her show kennels. The dogs were obviously happy and well-trained.
I even did a piece to camera with Schmeichel. Perfect.
Anne's giving a reward for information that leads to Betty-boob's return.
