I said "string 'em up" on live telly

I've just found myself saying "string 'em up" on live television. Shame on me!
But, to be fair, it was about the people who stub out cigarettes on the pavement and leave them there. I'm against capital punishment for everyone except litter louts and vandals. There's just no excuse.
I was reviewing the papers on the breakfast show. Sometimes you open your mouth and you're not quite sure where the sentence you're saying is going to go.
Didn't manage to write yesterday. Busy day. Sorry.
I've come in early today to review the papers and to prepare the Channel M News review of the week, which is shown at weekends.
