Tuesday's programme (May 29)
Middle East-style shisha bars are going to feel the effects of the smoking ban more keenly than just about anywhere else. They exist for people to smoke. On Channel M News tonight, we find out what's going to happen.
We're also looking at CCTV. We keep being told that it's the answer. But is it really? We've been to see how a mobile police CCTV camera works.
On the first working day of the tram upgrade (the line between Bury and Whitefield is shut till September) we talk to a GMPTE chief about what's happening. The first tram of the morning was seven minutes late at Bowker Vale this morning. So I was nearly late to review the papers on the breakfast show. Snarl!
Beverley Walkden will be presenting the 5pm programme today in Andy's absence. She and Matt Critchley will be doing the honours at 9 because it's also Heather's day off.
