Guilt-tripped into writing
I'm on a course this week. It'a part of my MA course in journalism leadership.
We looked once again at blogs.
The media industry is in turmoil and nobody knows what's really going to work. All we do know is that people aren't reading newspapers like they used to and that the internet is changing everything.
While some websites have changed the way we shop, the way we date and the way we get music, nothing in the virtual journalism world is making huge amounts of money.
But blogs are important, the theory is at the moment.
So I've been guilt-tripped into writing a bit more. I've also placed a few of my recent Metro News columns on here too.
Talking of the Metro News, it's the end of an era at that paper this week. More on that soon.
