Torchwood's too sexy!
MUCH though I love science fiction (I got the first three series of Blake’s Seven on DVD for Christmas and my birthday) and am not averse to some rumpity pumpity on the telly, I have to say Torchwood was disappointing because it made such great play of sex.
The only reason for it being an “adult” programme were the jarring scenes of snogging (some gay, some straight) and the plot of the second show revolving around the power of orgasms.
Which is a shame. Because, without these, the programme could have been on an hour or so earlier and younger Doctor Who fans, such as my nephew and niece, could have watched it.
